The same power that raised the dead
from a tomb long ago
is the same power found today
from Jesus we can know

wherever Jesus goes with man
the anointing is there
helping others to be made whole
and grace for those to bear
____
as Christ is the same for today
as He was before time
His power manifested in man
are acts of grace divine
____
because the love God has for us
His desire is to heal
strengthening character in some
His nature is revealed
____
for when the suffering is hard
and life seems cruel to bear
it’s easier knowing Jesus Christ
suffered more than his share
____
then comfort comes from having faith
looking to the One Who gave
everything His name stands for
to save one from the grave
____
but when deliverance comes from God
on earth or heaven’s plane
it eventually comes by faith
in that wonderful name
